About the business
Fetch are currently looking for an experienced Backhoe Operator for long term, ongoing Civil Construction work in multiple areas of Metropolitan & Regional Adelaide. Due to our clients winning several new stages of projects, there is an immediate need for people to start ASAP. Projects range from new Subdivision development to road construction, pipelines, quarries, landscaping & more.

Due to the duration of the project and the pipeline of work, our client is looking to put people on full time once the candidates have completed their probation period. Salary will be negotiable based on performance.

About the role
- Operating Backhoe - trenching, digging, grading
- Moving material around site aswell as loading/unloading
- Digging around pre-existing services
- General construction tasks as assigned by Foreman
Pay and benefits
- $40 – 45 p/h – rate will depend on experience
- $21.94 p/d travel allowance
- $18.51 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
- Penalty rates for all overtime worked – UP TO 20 HOURS A WEEK ON OFFER!!
- FREE PPE – Premium gear including Boots & Jacket
- Long term, consistent work with same employer on the same job site
- Temp to perm opportunity – reviewed at 3 and 6 months
Skills and experience
- Strong background in operating backhoe
- Australian Driver’s license and own transport
- White Card & relevant plant ticket
- Experience on subdivision and road projects
- OHS focussed
