Job description
I'm working with a major civil contractor who is looking for experienced civil labourers, to work on their sub-division sites primarily in Melbourne's North and West.
These roles will go up to Xmas and then continue early/mid January and continue through 2025. They also have a number of projects starting in 2025 with the posibility of transferring sites to one closer to home.

 
THE ROLE
  • Taking measurements and calculating levels
  • Assisting subcontractors – concreting pits, drainage, stormwater, etc
  • Digging trenches and installing electrical & NBN conduits
  • Operating machines – Roller, Loader, Moxy & more **must have ticket
  • Site setup and clean up – fencing, flagging, moving materials
  • Spotting and working around machines
 
THE PAY & BENEFITS
  • $33 – 38 p/h – rate will depend on experience
  • $21.94 p/d travel allowance
  • $18.51 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
  • Penalty rates for all overtime worked – regularly working 50+ hours per week
  • FREE PPE – Premium gear including Boots & Jacket
  • Long term, consistent work with same employer on the same job site
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • White card
  • Australian Driver’s License and own transport
  • Previous labouring experience preferred although all people will be considered
  • Able to pass D&A testing
  • Plant and machine tickets **desirable
