About the business

Fetch are currently partnered with a number of leading civil construction businesses who are experiencing massive growth and increased project pipeline. Due to the expansion they have openings for a Civil Supervisor. Type of projects will be subdivisions, road upgrades, bridge builds, wetlands projects, streetscapes, drainage, water infrastructure & more.

About the role


As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful completion of construction projects in the Adealaide region. You will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards. Your strong leadership and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in guiding your team and driving the successful delivery of complex construction projects.

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinating and supervising the daily activities of construction crews to ensure efficient and timely project delivery
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks to keep projects on track
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration
  • Providing guidance and support to your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including reports, timesheets, and quality control records
What we're looking for
  • Genuine experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent role in the civil construction industry
  • Strong understanding of SA standards, construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting deadlines
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Construction Management degree or equivalent, would be highly advantageous
