Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate costs for materials, labour, and other project expenses, with a focus on high-end residential apartments.
- Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive bids, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager, and Design Manager to ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project estimates, bids, and progress reports.
- CA Work: Perform Contract Administration (CA) work during downtime.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the high-end residential construction industry, specifically with apartment projects.
- Ability to estimate a job from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of rates in the tier 3 space.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software Procore and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with high-end finishes and custom features in residential projects.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes.
