We are seeking an experienced Factory Foreman to oversee our clients manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a demonstrated track record in managing production teams, optimising workflows, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.
Benefits:
- $45 p/h Super + Penalties.
- On site Parking.
- Full-Time Permanent Position including holiday and sick pay.
- Established business with over 25+ years in operation.
- One of the leading commercial joinery shopfitters in WA.
- 38 Hour Week, Mon – Fri + Overtime.
- Organised and down to earth management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations and manage a team of 12 - 13 cabinet makers and apprentices.
- Liaise with Production Manager on work flow and incoming jobs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor production schedules and work flows to meet deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members for skill development and performance improvement.
- Contribute to positive and collaborative work environment and company culture.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The Requirements:
- Trade qualified cabinet maker.
- Proven experience in a leadership position within a commercial or high end residential cabinet making workshop.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Ability to accurately interpret manufacturing plans.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools.
