Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Factory Foreman to oversee our clients manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a demonstrated track record in managing production teams, optimising workflows, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

  • 38 Hour Week, Mon – Fri + Overtime.
  • Organised and down to earth management team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations and manage a team of 12 - 13 cabinet makers and apprentices.
  • Liaise with Production Manager on work flow and incoming jobs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor production schedules and work flows to meet deadlines.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members for skill development and performance improvement.
  • Contribute to positive and collaborative work environment and company culture.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
 
The Requirements:
  • Trade qualified cabinet maker.
  • Proven experience in a leadership position within a commercial or high end residential cabinet making workshop.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Ability to accurately interpret manufacturing plans.
  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools.
