About the role
As an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to Commercial Airconditioning Clients, working on contracts such as Aged Care Facilities, Education Facilities & Hospitals. Your role will also involve mentoring apprentices, managing your daily schedule, and delivering high-level repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and complete daily job tasks as booked or required by clients.
- Attend and complete routine maintenance visits
- Monitor and manage job scheduling on weekly tasks
- Submit and complete task paperwork daily
- Complete and submit repair quotes to clients
- Train and mentor service apprentices to ensure they are provided with the knowledge and skills to conduct daily tasks.
- Ensure OH&S safety procedures are always followed, and provided PPE is used.
- Generate and compile repair quotes as found during jobs,
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and refrigeration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to complete tasks under pressure.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in completing technical paperwork and reports.
- Previous experience mentoring apprentices is a plus.
- Knowledge of OH&S standards and commitment to safety.
- ARCtick Licence
- Elec Connect/Disconnect
- Refrigerant Handling
- VBA Registration (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant trade qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
- Current driver's license.
