Responsibilities:
- Execute carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of fixtures, furniture, and structural components in aged care facilities and commercial.
- Collaborate with facility managers and project leads to plan and schedule projects according to resident needs and facility requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Safeguard the well-being of residents and staff by maintaining a clean, organized work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in commercial or institutional settings.
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials used in construction and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to carpentry work.
- 2 Covid vaccinations and annual flue shot
- Compassionate attitude and respect for the needs and preferences of elderly individuals.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
