Take your experience with elemental lighting design and career to the next level by developing and designing decorative lighting pieces in collaboration with the Design Directors and Design Leaders on various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop elemental briefs and concepts with project Design Leaders.
- Working closely with the project design team, develop the concepts for decorative lighting pieces and/or select proprietary lighting pieces for projects.
- Develop the decorative lighting pieces from an established design intent through to manufacture – ensuring a feasible design outcome.
- Using 3D modelling, hand sketching, photoshop and AutoCAD create detailed documentation that accurately represents the design intent
- Produce decorative lighting specification pages as a part of the project/lighting specifications.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the lighting and design teams to ensure the developed decorative lighting design aligns with the design intent.
- Further develop and maintain a design library for all decorative lighting products.
- Mentor designers and FF&E designers to develop their knowledge and product development skills
- Actively identify and implement opportunities for further professional development for designers
- Work in a well-respected and established design focused business working on projects both locally and internationally.

- Min 5 years of commercial project experience in a similar role.
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop/ InDesign), Auto CAD, Rhino and Sketch Up
- Commercial hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent visual design communication skills
- Strong time management ability.
- Industry knowledge of materials.
- Understanding of financial and commercial principals critical.
