Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire tendering process, from initial enquiry through to final submission
- Develop and negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks during the pre-contract phase
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legal requirements, and best practices
- Provide strategic input into bid/no-bid decisions and contribute to the overall business development strategy
Requirements:
- Proven experience in pre-contract management within the construction industry, ideally in civil or environmental projects
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- A deep understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and risk management
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
