Production Worker/Labourer

About the role:

Our client supports one of Australia's leading nationwide Tier 2 builders that turns over $1.5 billion + each year

Fetch Recruitment is currently seeking skilled Production Workers to represent us at a modular bathroom facility located Laverton North.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a variety of production machinery and equipment (automatic, semi-automatic, and single purpose machines)

• Utilizing hand tools as required

• Participating in manual handling tasks, such as packing and wrapping

• Setting up and adjusting production machinery as needed

• Entering basic data into an electronic system

• Performing quality assurance checks to ensure product compliance.

• Conducting task analysis to ensure safe and efficient work processes.

• Operating a forklift (desired but not required)

Expectations:

• Recent experience in a manufacturing or production environment with daily targets

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery and hand tools

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawings.

• Available to work day shift Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)

The Role:

• This is an ongoing casual role with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.
