Job description
A Senior Leader Role in a well-established and well-known design firm. Ideally suited for someone who can drive and lead design outcomes across all stages of the process with experience managing large scale interior or architecture projects in terms of programming, delivery, scope and client engagement.

Reporting directly to project directors you will take responsibility of multiple facets of the project as well as project teams while providing collaborative technical and project coordination from concept to completion always maintaining and advocating for the overall design intent.


Key Responsibilities: 
  • Scoping, planning and scheduling project deliverables across all stages of a project.

  • Coordination project deliverables, team members and budgets.

  • Identify, manage and monitor project delivery risks and maintain constant communications with all parties involved.

  • Successfully manage project budgeting, costing and resources to maintain project profitability.

  • Maintain robust and detailed project reporting requirements throughout.

  • Maintain constant transparency and professional stakeholder and client engagement through project lifecycle.  
  • Work with the Project Director to support various sub-consultants.
  • Responsible for managing any contractual ‘add-ons’ both internally and externally and in conjunction with Delivery Director

  • Work with the Design Leader to strategize the internal design process and resourcing to meet the project budget and programme.

  • In the Concept Design phase, coordinate the concept presentations, prepare support drawings and assist the internal design team.

  • Maintain a full understanding of the project contract throughout.

  • Ensure design is always coordinated across both internal and external teams.

  • Proactively manage billing and delivery risks and propose solutions for mitigation.

  • Ensure company standards are maintained throughout.

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with potential and present clients/operators and become the main client contact for a project.

Ideal candidate: 
  • Degree or higher qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture or related field management/commerce/architecture / interior design or equivalent experience.
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop/ InDesign), Auto CAD, Rhino and Sketch Up
  • Minimum 6 years of Commercial large scale architectural or interior project experience is a must. Hospitality, Hotel or F+B Interior Design experience preferred.
