Job description
The Opportunity
  • A boutique builder that do a mix of their own developments and third party builds – light commercial, medical centres and luxury residential
  • Your first projects will be overseeing two medical centres concurrently in Essendon & Bentleigh – lightweight builds with commercial fitout. 
  • Great pipeline of work upcoming (mainly in Bayside and SE suburbs)
Your Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
  • Preparation of fortnightly look ahead programs and updating work schedules
  • Supervise and drive subcontractor performance to ensure that work meets quality standards and timelines
  • Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
  • Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site
 
Experience/Qualifications:
  • A stable track record of employment at SM level,with a trade grounding in carpentry, and carpentry and experience on commercial projects or high end residential with commercial building elements
  • An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
  • Exposure in utilising site safety software  - they run Hammertech
  • A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
