We're looking for an Accountant to join there close-knit team and help them continue to grow.
Role Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, providing them with expert financial advice and tailored solutions. You’ll play a key role in managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, delivering both technical accounting services and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports
- Provide strategic advice to clients on their financial operations, ensuring they understand their financial position
- Assist clients with Xero accounting software, including training and troubleshooting
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required
- Contribute to the growth and success of the firm
- Must have 2+ years of experience in public practice accounting!
- CPA qualified (preferred, but not essential)
- Experience working with Xero accounting software is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to face clients and build lasting relationships
