You will play a key role in the tendering and quoting process for a wide range of commercial & maintenance projects. You’ll work closely with the project management team, clients, and suppliers to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for commercial plumbing and maintenance works.
- Interpret and review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical information.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain and update estimation tools, cost databases, and quote documentation.
- Collaborate with the operations and project delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover.
- Proven experience in a plumbing estimation role, preferably in commercial or maintenance sectors.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations in Victoria.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Competent in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Great communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- A trade background or plumbing qualification is highly desirable.
