Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for precast production.
- Monitor daily production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards (e.g., PCI, ASTM).
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Analyze quality data and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to address recurring issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related problems.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) of defects and implement improvement strategies.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, NCRs (non-conformance reports), and audit documentation.
- Lead or support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory agency inspections.
- Train production personnel on quality standards, proper inspection methods, and process controls.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing and inspection equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the precast, concrete, or construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes specific to precast concrete.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools and lab testing procedures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
