- A highly respected company with a national footprint who have delivered multiple high spec commercial and health builds in Victoria over 20 years.
- Newly awarded project commencing mid year, if you are available before then they can get you started on an ancillary project whilst planning for upcoming works.
- Project consists of heavy refurb involving vertical extension to existing building, new façade and specialist fitout works.
- Sizeable project team to assist – Foreman, Leading Hand and site based PM and CA team – a team approach
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead all day to day site operations - Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
- Detailed project programming on a weekly basis in conjunction with your PM – there are multiple work interfaces which will require careful planning
- Liaising with clients to ensure works aren’t impacting on the day to day operation of this health facility
- Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
- Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site
Experience/Qualifications:
- A stable track record in the supervision of commercial construction projects – a good grounding in structure, services and completing works in live environments would be idea.
- Certificate III or IV in OHS
- An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
- Experience in utilising site safety software such as Hammertech, Procore or similar
- Tower crane experience a must
- An ability to lead a site team consisting of Foremen, Leading Hand and other site based personnel
- A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
