Rate: $30 - $40 per hour + super
Location: Melbourne CBD
Duration: 6-8 weeks temporary assignment


Join the forefront of fit-out and construction with this exciting opportunity as a Bid & Marketing Coordinator at a leading Commercial Builder in Melbourne. Join the estimating team and make an immediate impact on the end-to-end tender process and enhancing their brand presence while providing support to multiple departments and senior management.

THE ROLE:
As the Bid Coordinator, you'll be supporting the Senior Bid Manager within the New Business team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the entire tender process to deliver exceptional, punctual proposals that outshine competitors
  • Apply advanced Graphic Design expertise to create visually impressive and professionally formatted tender documents
  • Evaluate tender specifications and develop appropriate project timelines and strategies
  • Organise and engage in proposal kick-off meetings, including creating and maintaining action item lists
  • Guide and support subject matter experts (SMEs) in understanding tender requirements and meeting deadlines
  • Provide crucial administrative assistance to Bid Managers and the Senior Bid Manager
  • Build and nurture strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure consistent brand representation
  • Efficiently organise and maintain team documentation for quick and easy access to information

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the Building & Construction industry
  • Advanced graphic design capability & proven experience in Adobe InDesign
  • Sound understanding of the end-to-end tender, RFQ and ECI process
  • You take initiative, ask questions and drive for results
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work well with all stakeholders
