Responsibilities:
- Review project specs, drawings, and other documents to prepare cost estimates.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Work with clients, engineers, and production teams for accurate estimates.
- Submit quotes and maintain project budgets.
- Assist with purchase orders and contracts.
- Keep up with sheet metal trends and processes.
- Experience as a sheet metal estimator or similar role.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, materials, and industry standards.
- Strong skills in reading technical drawings and using estimating software.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
