Experienced Leading Hand/Foreman Wanted for Residential & Industrial Projects - Melbourne
Our client, a leading construction company specializing in residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects, is seeking a motivated and skilled Leading Hand/Foreman to join their team and work hands-on in the development of new residential and industrial subdivisions in Melbourne.
Responsibilities:
Work hands-on with a team of tradespeople to complete construction activities at the site, specifically on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Assist the Foreman/Supervisor with day-to-day site operations
Maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans for residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project runs smoothly
Ensure quality control and manage any site issues that may arise
Attend regular site meetings and provide progress updates to management on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, specifically on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Proven track record in hands-on construction work, specifically in residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good knowledge of construction practices and regulations specific to residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects
Relevant trade qualifications or engineering degree (desirable)
Ability to pass a police check and drug and alcohol test
