The Builder:
- A Longstanding and respected builder who deliver projects across Victoria
- Strong relationships across Victoria, enabling the builder to have a consistent pipeline
- Detailed new builds and refurbishments in a broad range of markets including Defence, Health, Education and large-scale Government projects.
The Role:
- Help project teams and contractors fully engage with our HSE software platforms, such as Hammertech.
- Cultivate a continuous learning approach towards health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices, aiding in audits, inspections, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
- Forecast necessary project HSE supplies, such as signage, safety equipment, and other requirements, to ensure project teams are fully equipped to fulfill their responsibilities.
- Projects based throughout Ballarat and surround regional Victoria postcodes.
- Work both on-site and in the office, with most tasks performed in the office.
- Offer support to management, project teams, and contractors regarding safety and environmental responsibilities, including the preparation, review, and maintenance of related documentation.
- Assist in reviewing essential data and reports (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001) and contribute to developing strategies to address any identified weaknesses.
- Enhance employee HSE training by contributing to the development and delivery of internal programs and managing the booking process with external training providers.
- Assist in reporting and resolving workplace incidents, including follow-up on corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness.
- Engage in risk management practices and ensure quality management through the maintenance of records and documents related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Create client-specific HSE documentation (e.g., SWMS) to support the Defects Manager and post-completion teams in meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Must have:
- 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role.
- Minimum of Certificate III in OHS.
- Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded).
- Clean driver’s license
- Must be proficient with using Hammertech.
