Role Overview:
As the Project Coordinator, you will oversee day-to-day project operations, handle schedules, and facilitate communication between different teams and stakeholders. Your focus will be on ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Maintain and organize project documentation and track progress.
- Update project schedules and address any delays or issues.
- Monitor and manage project expenses and assist with budget tracking.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues as they arise.
- Organize and lead project meetings to keep everyone aligned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project coordination experience, ideally in structural steel or construction.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of structural steel components and construction processes.
- Software: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to effectively handle and resolve project challenges.
