Senior / principal Water Engineer

Position: Senior / Principal Water Engineer
Location: Perth, WA
Salary: $140K – 200K

About the Role:
As a Senior Water Consultant with our client, a leading consultancy in Australia, you'll focus on building and calibrating a full catchment flood models or be part of the design team for a major infrastructure projects for key clients like Water Corporation / CBH. You will work with technical consultants across drainage, flood modelling, hydrology, surface water and groundwater disciplines. You will get to project manage key projects, while account managing smaller projects. this role will have an element of business development and junior staff mentoring. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic investigation and design for a wide range of studies including rural and urban flood studies, transport and mine infrastructure, floodplain management, water balance modelling, stormwater management and mine water management

• Provide technical advice to the environmental team

• Work on major projects and panel works for key clients like water corporation and CBH

About the client:

Key Criteria: 

• Degree in civil or mechanical engineering  

• Significant experience consulting experience

• 7+ years experience in water projects

• Water corporation standard experience
