Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and drafters, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Provide technical direction, verification, and specialist input into structural engineering tasks.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, conduct site inspections, and liaise with stakeholders such as builders, architects, and project managers.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines and quality management systems.
- Monitor project efficiency, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and within budget.
- Develop and nurture client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing systems and team capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for business development and attend industry events as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
- Registration with Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register.
- Proven experience as a Building Certifier.
- Familiarity with Australian Standard Design Codes of Practice.
- Strong understanding of residential, industrial, and commercial structural design.
- Competency with 3D structural analysis software.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and time management skills.
- Experience in mentoring and leading teams, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
