About the role
- Concrete patching and placing
- Using hammer drill holes
- Using a jackhammer
- Assisting carpenters, electricians, plumbers & concreters
- Demolition saws
- Laying conduits and assisting pipelayers
- Chase concrete
- General construction duties
- Spotting machines
- Work in all weather conditions
- Assisting team where necessary
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
- Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
Skills and experience
- Strong background as a Trade Assistant although all applicants will be considered
- Australian Driver’s license and own transport
- Experience with hand and power tools
- White Card & plant tickets (desirable)
- Experience on commercial, civil & mining projects (desirable)
- OHS focussed
