We’re looking for a skilled Structural Steel Estimator to join a leading structural steel business. If you have Estimation experience with a structural steel background, this position is for you!

The business is a large structural steel manufacturer who act as a one stop shop from design through to installation of structural steel on large scale projects throughout Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate Costs: Read blueprints and project documents to calculate accurate costs for structural steel projects.
- Supplier Interaction: Work with vendors to get quotes and ensure best prices and quality.
- Prepare Bids: Create detailed bid packages and proposals for clients.
- Manage Costs: Track and control project costs, finding savings and managing risks.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and documentation to support project planning and decisions.
- Experience: At least 3 years in structural steel estimating or a similar role.
- Skills: Knowledge of structural steel design and estimating software.
- Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Education: Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
