- Well recognised in the Commercial Tier 3 sector with some high calibre operators at the helm of the business.
- Delivering construction projects across Residential, Pharmaceutical, Health, Retail and Commercial between $5mil and $40mil.
- Have their own trades and repeat subbies that makes your job a lot easier.
- Supportive Construction and Project Manager's that are there to support not micromanage.
What’s in it for you:
- Hourly rate of $44.50 + Superannuation (Overtime paid at an increase)
- Fantastic pipeline of work covering Melbourne, loads of opportunity to move into a new site once this is completed.
- Around 8 months on a project in the Southeast, then moving onto new projects based in the City or East of Melbourne.

The Role:
- Full time Health & Safety officer, first protocol will be to uphold a safe workplace.
- 50/50 Split of completing safety duties and general labouring.
- Working collaboratively with site managers/project managers with upkeeping a safe project.
- Fully hands on position that will require labouring / Peggy duties.
- Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
- Effectively communicate with site management team to assist with daily on-site tasks including toolbox talks, site inductions and daily pre starts.
- Review sub-contractor SWMS.
- Conduct on site safety audits.
- Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
- 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
- Minimum of Certificate III in OHS
- MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
- Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols
- Experience using safety software systems.
- Full australian working rights - No oversea visa applicants acceptable.
