Logistics Officer | Leading Packaging Manufacturer
Salary - $70,000 - $75,000 + superannuation
Location – Eastern Suburbs

Operating for several decades, my client is a highly respected packaging manufacturer specialising in innovative solutions. Due to their ongoing success, they are now seeking a talented and experienced Logistics Officer.
If you have a strong background in logistics coordination and warehouse procedures, OR a proven track record of success in supply chain management, then we would love to hear from you. Ideally, we're looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. THE ROLE
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely supply of information to the warehouse and customers. Here's what your day could look like:
  • Arranging the despatch of goods with completed invoices and associated documentation
  • Processing export orders, freight, and completing necessary paperwork
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure timely despatch of finished goods to customers
  • Assisting with cycle-counts and stock takes, investigating any major variances
  • Maintaining records of despatched goods, including hired pallets
  • Supporting the customer service team and providing backup as needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly in warehouse management systems
  • Good knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics processes
  • Understanding of Quality & Food Safety Systems and procedures
