The Opportunity
- A long established industrial D&C specialist who have kept pace with modern systems and building methodology
- A $9m project in Melbourne’s north consisting of refurb/fitout of an existing property and construction of new premises – and the linking of the two
- This is an ideal role for someone with strong refurb/fitout experience to transfer to the new build area through proven new build SM’s are welcome to apply.
- Strong pipeline of work in the medium to long term.
Your Responsibilities
- Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
- Liaising with clients to ensure the project is delivered on schedule
- Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
- Working closely with the Project Manager managing the construction program and working
- Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site (you will have the support of an HSR/labourer)
Experience/Qualifications:
- A stable track record of employment with a trade grounding in carpentry and experience on commercial projects – good exposure to fitout and new build would be ideal.
- An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
- Exposure in utilising site safety software such as Hammertech, Procore would be benefical
- A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
