Job description
The Opportunities
  • Tier 3 builders seeking SM’s in the early stages of their career to run sub $5m projects.
  • The Directors train and develop their staff and are seeking up and comers to be part of the growth of the company
  • You will have the opportunity to run your own project - $3m aged care refurb in Melbourne’s NW (live environment), or new build industrial units in Melbourne’s SE.
  • These are ideal roles for a accomplished Leading Hand with strong commercial building experience to step up and run their own projects, or you may be a Site Supervisor with a couple of jobs under their belt.
Your Responsibilities
 
  • Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
  • Liaising with clients to ensure the project is delivered on schedule
  • Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
  • Working closely with the Project Manager managing the construction program
  • Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site
 
 
Experience/Qualifications:
  • A stable track record of employment with a trade grounding in carpentry and experience on commercial projects or high end residential with commercial building elements
  • An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
  • Exposure in utilising site safety software such as Hammertech, Procore would be benefical - you will require strong IT skills as a minimum
  • A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills essential – there is a high degree of client interaction.
