My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Contract Administrator with a proven ability to manage contracts, ensure compliance, and maintain meticulous documentation.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent negotiation abilities, and strong communication skills. You will work closely with the project team to ensure all aspects of contract administration are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and negotiation of subcontracts.
- Vetting, awarding, and letting trade packages.
- Preparing, tracking, and processing invoices.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Recording and distributing meeting minutes.
- Managing and following up on RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Ensuring all contractual obligations are met in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the commercial building industry as a Project Coordinator or Contract Administrator.
- Education: Relevant degree qualifications in Building and Construction.
- Expertise: Demonstrated experience working on commercial new builds valued between $5M and $10M.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of subcontractor procurement and contract management.
- Software Experience: Jobpac, Procure, Costx, Hammertech
