THE ROLE
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for customers’ installation & maintenance needs. Your role will involve efficiently scheduling and coordinating skilled electricians, ensuring customer requirements are met smoothly and promptly. This role is perfect for someone with a trade background who’s looking to transition into an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage maintenance jobs from start to finish
- Maintain ongoing communication with electricians to coordinate and monitor job progress
- Update customers on job statuses and resolve queries
- Prepare job sheets and manage the customer database
- Assist with project management for larger jobs
- Handle customer contracts and process invoices
- General office administration and customer service
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience in a similar role within the Building & Construction industry, ideally Building Services (Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with scheduling software highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking, prioritising, and influencing abilities
- Positive, can-do attitude and a team player mentality
- A trade background is highly desirable, ideally suited for someone transitioning from on-site work to an office role
